Casepoint sets a credit-and-overage path for smaller subscriptions

On September 9, LawSites reported that Casepoint launched Casepoint IQ across e-discovery, legal holds, public-records work and investigations, with two agents in alpha and a beta planned before year-end. Casepoint said its largest customers would ultimately receive unmetered use, while smaller subscriptions would receive allocated credits with metering and overage charges. That split makes usage forecasting a material purchasing task for mid-sized firms, especially in discovery where document volumes and agent runs can vary sharply by matter. Buyers should model peak-case scenarios, require usage visibility and compare credit costs with the labor actually displaced rather than relying on an average per-seat business case.
