Clio Extends Vincent to More Than 567,000 Canadian Decisions

On September 23, Clio announced that Vincent now covers more than 567,000 Canadian judicial decisions plus federal and provincial legislation across common-law provinces, following its June acquisition of Jurisage. Clio said the system can trace responses to authority and verify citations, while legislation for Quebec and Nunavut remains in progress. For Canadian mid-sized firms, the case illustrates how acquisition, data validation and product integration can make a previously generic AI workflow jurisdiction-specific. A pilot should measure authority coverage, citation accuracy and handling of known gaps by practice area rather than treating the size of the corpus as a proxy for reliability.
