OpenAI selects Telon to add implementation capacity to procurement

On September 15, Business Insider reported that OpenAI named London-based Telon a select partner to help shared law-firm and legal-department customers configure models, write prompts, build agents and train lawyers. Telon has grown to 30 team members since its June launch, although it did not disclose customers or the commercial terms of the partnership. For client teams, the development suggests that buyers may evaluate a technology proposition together with the people and operating model needed to make it usable, rather than purchase licenses as a standalone decision. Firms using embedded legal engineers should define data access, ownership of resulting workflows and continuity after the engagement ends, because implementation dependency can become part of the client-service risk.
