SmartAdvocate adds AI-supported intake and client communications

On October 7, SmartAdvocate announced a 2026 platform release adding an AI voice agent, an intake coaching assistant, document classification, case-data analysis and drafted email and text responses. The company says the release also includes scheduled messages and custom reporting, but it did not publish independent client-experience or conversion results. For firms using case management as the front end of the client journey, the relevant opportunity is to connect intake, matter status and outbound communication in one measurable workflow. BD and operations teams should test response time, qualification accuracy, escalation, consent and client satisfaction before attributing revenue or loyalty gains to the new automation.
