Harvey Intake gives legal departments an AI-enabled front door
Inside Practice · OCTOBER 20, 2026 · 1 MIN READ
On October 14, Artificial Lawyer reported that Harvey launched Intake for in-house teams, with early access beginning during October. The product captures requests from existing business tools, routes them under the legal team’s rules and uses agents for routine responses or a first pass on other work; Harvey said Carvana, GE Aerospace and Dentsu helped design it. For outside firms, a structured client intake layer may arrive with more context, completed initial analysis and clearer routing decisions before counsel is engaged. BD teams should ask clients how their front door classifies and escalates work, because visibility into that process will increasingly shape panel utilization and matter flow.
