Legora and Laurel connect AI work to time capture and future value measures
Inside Practice · OCTOBER 20, 2026 · 1 MIN READ
On October 13, Legora and Laurel announced that work completed in Legora will generate matter-attributed time entries for lawyer review, with a later phase intended to measure AI use and value. The first phase is designed to record the client, matter and work description alongside activity captured from email, documents and calls; the companies have not yet specified the future value metrics. For client teams, the significance is the potential to explain how AI changes effort, staffing and turnaround at matter level instead of relying on adoption counts. Because the ROI claims remain prospective and vendor-reported, firms should agree internally which measures can be shared with clients before using the integration in pricing or value reviews.
