Saga External targets client-facing self-service built on firm expertise

On October 23, 2026, Saga announced Saga External, a developing capability for law firms to turn playbooks and positions into branded services such as contract checks or compliance reviews that clients can access directly. Saga says firms build and own the service, decide when lawyers intervene and can develop workflows with Saga Lab engineers; the company did not publish a general-availability date. For BD teams, the model creates a potential entry product that captures recurring demand and produces usage signals before a full matter arises. Firms should resolve ownership, support obligations, privilege, feedback use and pricing before presenting any such service as a scalable client offering.
