Corporate legal AI adoption nearly doubles in a year

FTI Consulting and Relativity’s General Counsel Report says 87% of general counsel now report GenAI use within their teams, compared with 44% in 2025. That shifts client intelligence from “are clients using AI?” to “how are clients governing AI, measuring value and deciding what work belongs with outside counsel versus internal AI-enabled teams?”
