Flank gives general counsel a formal role in agentic product design

On October 5, 2026, Legal IT Insider reported that Flank had created a senior advisory board comprising general counsel, legal-operations leaders, contracting specialists and law-firm partners to shape and test its agentic-AI roadmap. The group is intended to test capabilities before customer release and align agents for intake, drafting, redlining and review with real enterprise workflows and edge cases. This is a market signal that buyers increasingly expect participation in product governance, not simply a demonstration at the end of development. Law firms and legal departments evaluating agents should ask how representative users, failure scenarios and operational owners influence release decisions.
