On October 13, Legora announced Intake, a Slack-based front door that converts business requests into tracked legal work and can draft from a department’s own playbooks and precedents. The vendor says a lawyer reviews every output by default, while teams can pre-approve end-to-end handling for defined routine requests; each task records its type, owner, due date and turnaround time. For legal departments, the product design makes policy configuration the central control: autonomy must be set request type by request type, not granted to the system as a whole. Outside firms should watch whether better internal demand data changes what clients insource, how they package panel work and which recurring requests become candidates for fixed-fee support.
