Pinsent Masons hires project-finance partner for EMEA transition work

On October 5, 2026, Pinsent Masons announced that Joshua Htet joined its London Energy and Infrastructure team as a partner after more than 13 years advising sponsors, lenders, export-credit agencies and multilateral institutions. His stated experience covers wind, solar, battery storage, transmission and other cross-border financings across EMEA and Southeast Asia. The appointment indicates that firms are building transition practices around lawyers who can serve both the supply of capital and project sponsors, expanding the addressable work beyond ESG policy advice. Practice leaders should watch whether such hires generate integrated mandates across financing, permitting, supply-chain diligence and disputes rather than being evaluated solely on transaction volume.
