Courtroom5 Integrates With Gemini Enterprise for Legal, Offers Free Tools to Self-Represented Litigants

Courtroom5 launched three jurisdiction-aware litigation guidance tools — case assessment, deadline tracking, and next-step guidance — directly inside Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise for Legal via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector on August 25. The tools are available across all 50 US states and are free to self-represented litigants, requiring no Courtroom5 account or sign-up. The move is architecturally significant: Courtroom5's tools are now embedded where lawyers are working, meaning self-represented litigants can access the same infrastructure without a separate onboarding path. Google's decision to include access-to-justice tooling in its enterprise legal launch — alongside BigLaw clients — signals that the access gap is a feature, not a bug, of the platform's positioning.
