On September 9, LawSites reported that Casepoint launched Casepoint IQ across e-discovery, legal holds, FOIA and investigations, with two agents in alpha and a beta planned before year-end. The framework applies shared permissions, logging, human approval and validation conventions across agentic tools, generative assistance and established technology-assisted review. In a synthetic 10,000-document demonstration, Casepoint reported roughly one hour of run time and estimated savings of 190 hours and $11,911; those figures are vendor-generated demonstration results, not an independent production benchmark. The practical development is the merger of agent design with defensibility and usage economics, including plans for unmetered use by large customers and credit-based plans with overages for smaller subscriptions.
