Global Legal Tech Alliance creates a law-firm-led platform for AI-enabled services

Legal IT Insider reports that Hogan Lovells joined more than 15 international firms to launch the Global Legal Tech Alliance, designed to help firms collectively develop and deploy technology reshaping legal practice. The alliance includes shared standards, joint development of solutions for complex legal workflows, training through an academy, peer exchange and senior-leadership dialogue.

Why it matters: This is a structural response to the AI-native challenger narrative. Rather than each firm building in isolation, the alliance points toward shared infrastructure, cross-border standards and law-firm-led technology strategy.
