Norm AI closed a $120 million Series C at a $1.2 billion valuation on July 7, 2026, led by Khosla Ventures with Blackstone, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, Vanguard, New York Life, and TIAA on the cap table — the last two as both investors and customers. The round brings total capital raised to over $260 million in under three years. The vehicle at the center of the thesis is Norm Law, an affiliated AI-native law firm that pairs supervisory AI agents with senior attorney oversight and prices work on outcomes rather than billable hours. Its supervisory agents do not adjudicate — they verify that other AI systems and human communications comply with codified regulatory rules, producing documented, audit-trail outputs for human review. Former Kirkland & Ellis chairman Jeff Hammes personally invested; Norm Law has now added John Budetti as Partner and Co-Head of Global Private Capital Funds.
