NetDocuments Expands MCP Ecosystem to Gemini, Harvey, Legora — Adds Tabular Review and Legal Authorities

NetDocuments announced August 26 the expansion of its open, AI-tool-agnostic MCP ecosystem — adding Google Gemini Enterprise to its connector network alongside Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Harvey, and Legora. The same week, NetDocuments launched Tabular Review (structured AI analysis across document collections) and Legal Authorities (automatic extraction and linking of case citations as documents are saved to the platform) as additions to its Legal Context Graph. The combination is deliberate: the Legal Context Graph provides the structured matter-level relationships that give AI something to reason over, while the expanded MCP ecosystem makes that structured context available to every major AI platform without requiring firms to choose a single vendor. For KM professionals, this is the most direct current demonstration that the DMS layer is becoming the governed knowledge infrastructure that determines AI quality — not the AI tool itself.
