Casepoint IQ combines agents, TAR and MCP under one audit layer

On September 9, LawSites reported that Casepoint launched Casepoint IQ across e-discovery, legal holds, public-records work and investigations, bringing agents, generative assistance, established technology-assisted review and its Model Context Protocol server into one framework. The company said shared permissions, logging, human approval and validation conventions would apply across those components; its first two agents are in alpha, with a beta planned before year-end. For KM and legal operations teams, the significant design choice is treating newer agents as governed extensions of an existing information system rather than isolated tools. Buyers should examine whether permissions and audit records persist across every MCP-connected source and whether established precision-and-recall methods translate to agentic tasks.
