Blue J tax research becomes available inside Legora through MCP

On October 19, 2026, LawSites reported that Legora and Blue J had launched an MCP integration allowing joint subscribers to query Blue J’s tax-research service from the Legora platform and receive answers with inline source links. Blue J performs the research on its own infrastructure, and users authenticate to both products rather than transferring the source collection into Legora. This federated pattern gives KM teams a practical alternative to duplicating licensed knowledge in a central index. Procurement and governance should therefore test entitlement enforcement, logging, citation persistence and what happens to a workflow when either subscription or connector is unavailable.
