EvenUp sends selected case facts to LexisNexis Protégé for grounded research

On October 22, 2026, LawSites reported that the previously announced LexisNexis Protégé integration with EvenUp was live, allowing personal-injury lawyers to ask legal questions using facts extracted from case records already held in EvenUp. The MCP connection packages selected facts for Protégé, returns linked authorities and Shepard’s signals inside EvenUp, and can carry the conversation into Lexis+; the reverse flow from Protégé into EvenUp was not yet available. For KM teams, this is a concrete example of task-specific context selection replacing manual file upload. The control question is whether users can inspect which facts crossed the boundary and correct missing or misclassified facts before relying on the research result.
