UK-based Aavalynx raised £1.5 million (approximately $1.9M / €1.75M) in a pre-seed round led by Omega Ventures, with participation from West Coast firm Two Ravens and angel investors including senior law firm partners and a former Amazon European head. The round, announced August 4–5, will fund product acceleration and global team expansion for Aavalynx's Sisu platform, which ingests dispute data at scale, structures it, and delivers evidence-backed financial forecasts to corporate legal departments, law firms, and litigation funders. Rather than waiting for periodic outside counsel updates, Sisu aims to give legal teams real-time modelling of potential financial outcomes across their entire dispute portfolio. Founded by disputes lawyer Hanna Roos, Aavalynx targets the commercial dispute lifecycle from early-stage risk identification through final hearings. For legal tech operators, it represents a new entrant at the intersection of legal analytics and financial risk intelligence — a segment with clear enterprise budget exposure and growing demand from GCs under CFO scrutiny.
