Casepoint pairs agentic review with credits and overage pricing

On September 9, LawSites reported that Casepoint launched Casepoint IQ across e-discovery, legal holds, public-records work and investigations, with two agents in alpha and a beta planned before year-end. Casepoint said large customers would receive unmetered use while smaller subscriptions would use credits with overage charges, connecting workflow design directly to consumption economics. In a synthetic 10,000-document demonstration, the company reported roughly one hour of run time and estimated savings of 190 hours and $11,911; these are vendor-generated demonstration results, not an independent production benchmark. Operators should watch whether credit units map cleanly to completed legal tasks, because opaque metering can weaken both buyer forecasting and vendor margin discipline.
