Barracuda packages AI governance for managed-service distribution
Inside Practice · SEPTEMBER 28, 2026 · 1 MIN READ
On September 22, Barracuda announced AI Data Security, a product intended to give organizations and managed service providers centralized visibility and policy controls for AI-related data use. The company emphasized multitenant management and bundled pricing for resource-constrained customers; those product and value descriptions are vendor claims. Although not legal-specific, the launch matters to legal-tech operators selling into smaller firms because customers increasingly expect governance controls that can be administered without a dedicated security team. Vendors should watch whether buyers prefer governance embedded in legal applications or supplied through broader security platforms that already own the MSP channel.
