Harvey pairs pro bono deployment with legal engineering support

On September 22, LawSites reported that Harvey launched a pro bono program in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia with Ashurst, DLA Piper, Nelson Mullins and Perkins Coie as initial design partners. Harvey said it would supply legal-engineering staff, build custom agents for high-volume work such as housing and veterans services, and later in 2026 pilot free access with frontline organizations; these plans and expected effects are company-supplied. The program treats adoption as a co-design and implementation problem, not simply a license-distribution exercise. For legal AI operators, it provides a useful test of whether workflow engineering and reusable templates can expand capacity in settings where budgets are constrained and outcome measurement matters.
