Mitratech buys BotDojo to accelerate autonomous legal execution

On September 28, 2026, Mitratech Legal announced its acquisition of AI-native startup BotDojo to accelerate development of the ARIES AI platform; the purchase price was not disclosed. Mitratech says BotDojo's agent capabilities will be paired with the data and workflow history generated across more than 12,000 legal-team relationships, a scale figure supplied by the company. The acquisition reinforces the advantage held by incumbent platforms that can ground agents in existing systems of record rather than compete only at the interface layer. Builders selling into legal departments will increasingly need either privileged workflow data, a defensible specialist capability or a distribution partnership with an incumbent.
