LawCare Launches a Free Manager-Focused Workplace Wellbeing Course
Inside Practice · SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 · 1 MIN READ
On September 8, LawCare launched Supporting legal workplace wellbeing, a free, self-paced online course for managers, team leaders, wellbeing leads, HR and learning professionals across the legal sector. Developed through the Fit for Law collaboration with academics at the University of Sheffield and The Open University, the course focuses on healthier ways of working and workplaces where people can speak openly. Firm leaders can use it as a common baseline for supervisors, but completion should be paired with operating measures such as workload reviews, escalation confidence, absence trends and response-time norms. The important test is whether training changes manager behaviour and work design, not how many people finish the module.
